I have just read your article “Inside out”. Very good reading.
In your photo-kit you show a “Challoner flyweight diffuser” and a “3 mm opaque white Perspex”. Do you know where on the internet I can buy these items?

Niall, I’m genuinely enjoying reading (not browsing) your Outdoor Photography Masterclass, I’d almost given up on the library for worthwhile photography books. Your content is delivered in a non patronising way, technical (though not Light Science Magic)yet I can still read it at night and enjoy. Could you please advise me of where to purchase the perspex and the diffuser for your field studio as i am interested in this kind of photography . I tried amari plastics but they wanted £60 for a sheet of plexiglass they would only sell full sheet .

If Amari are being difficult about supplying single, cut pieces, try Stockline http://www.stockline-plastics.co.uk/ : I usually buy single pieces (an off-cut may be acceptable to you.) Although I use Flyweight from Challoner Marketing as my diffuser you could you a 3mm sheet of opaque acrylic, so long as it is not too dense. I think I’m going to have to go into the supply business if may more people ask me!
